Art Theraplay Program - Mother and Child

Motherhood is difficult - even more so if you are using alcohol or drugs.

The Art Theraplay Program is a free outreach program designed for you and your child to explore new ways to communicate in a playful and enjoyable way. You and your children are supported to express feelings and develop self understanding through the use of mediums such as paint, clay and music. The Art Theraplay Program aims to help mums and kids by:

  • Exploring new ways of communicating and relating with each other.
  • Improving self-esteem and self-care .
  • Releasing tension and reducing stress.
  • Reducing drug related harm.

Funded under the National Illicit Drug Stategy (no charge).
