Specialised services include...

Womens Services
Individual counselling and groups (held on a need to basis) are provided for women with an emphasis on confidentiality, safety and support to address issues of substance misuse.

Men's Program
Services provided for men are mainly in the form of one-to-one counselling which is often linked with other services. A program addressing issues of anger and violence will be initiated soon.

Youth Services
Provides information and support for young people who have an interest in checking out their drug use and how this impacts on their life. Referral to appropriate agencies for specific concerns is available.

Significant Others
Provides partners and other adult family members the opportunity to learn about the dynamics of addictive relationships and families. The program presents sessions around coping skills and strategies, along with counselling sessions.

Co-Exisiting Disorders
Provides one-to-one conselling, support and information for clients who have both alcohol and other drug problems as well as mental health issues. This is provided in collaboration with Swan Mental Health service.

PEG (Parent Environment Group)
Is designed to support, educate and inform parents who have concerns about their children's substance abuse.

DAWN (Drug & Alcohol Withdrawl Network)
DAWN is located within Oakle House and assists people to manage their withdrawal from alcohol and drug use in their own environment. An experienced nurse works closely with your local doctor and regularly visits you at home throughout the withdrawal process. More information.
